Rangers President and GM Glen Sather announced today that the club has agreed to terms with goaltender Cam Talbot on a new contract.

Talbot, 25, is 19-19-1 with a 2.52 goals against average, .919 save percentage and one shutout in 39 appearances with the Connecticut Whale of the AHL this season. He leads the team in wins, goals against average and save percentage, and is tied for fourth in the league in wins and 11^th in save percentage. 

The Blue Jackets have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with Jarmo Kekalainen to serve as the club’s GM, Blue Jackets President of Hockey Operations John Davidson announced today.  

Kekalainen, who has been the president and GM of Jokerit in the Finnish Elite League since 2010, becomes the third general manager in Blue Jackets history.    
  

Kimmo Timonen and the Flyers have agreed to a one-year contract extension, the team announced Thursday.

The deal will be worth around $6M, a source told ESPN.com.
